cliché

zersiedelung par excellence.
after a very long drive from Brisbane to Armidale, we saw many things, like a big apple, a boring job playing a traffic light all day long, a lot of grass, clouds and even a couple of moody rivers from the floods. We even came across a town with a scottish name, which even had something like a stonehenge next to it. very interesting! at first, we thought it was a solar clock, but it turned out to be showing the cardinal directions (true north, true south and so on). when we arrived at L.'s house in Armidale, we were very tired, especially the driver I would assume, and somehow I developed the annyoing habit of going to sleep in the car (but but but the seats are sooo soft!!). anyway, there was a great dinner on the table, and L. said she would have cooked Kanguruh steak, but thank god it was only lamb haha, I wouldn't have known if I could have eaten that, as I had never had it before (what a complicated sentence). She had pictures of me as a little girl and my brother Elli, as her late husband was his godgather. Incredible that people you hardly know and live on the other side of the world have pictures of you as a baby... thats amazing.
interesting steps coming down from the kitchen to the hallway, like the house was on two levels, but these
were actually almost on the same one. danger of tripping !!

longlong hallway in a very interesting house. right
two steps up to the bathroom, on the same lines as the ones coming down
from the kitchen.

funny to see pictures of your little brother in houses you've never been to..
thats elliot in the red shirt.
