how nice to wake up to a kookaburra laughing ! I immediately got up and went around the house to see what the sound was and there I saw it, sitting on the fence. klick !
In the afternoon, I went for a drive with my Grandma to show me around their coutryside and we went shopping a little but all the good stores were closed because of the heat, or because they just close so early ! (bugger...)

| well, this wasn't actually in the box, it was given to us by some guests we had and today we ate the left-overs. |
then suddenly, out of nowhere ! a storm comes up . It started raining and bolts of lightning cracked down around the house while the thunder rumbled and shook the whole house ! It was incredible ! I loved it . But then all of the sudden, the lights flickered, and the electricity went out. We were sitting in the dark ! But as this had not happened for the first time, the candles were soon out and lit and we went to play cards, very old fashioned.
But soon, after some worries about the power, we went to watch TV and had a comfy cozy evening.
(I even had to wear a jumper, whereas we were driving around today with the aircon on !) this weather is mental !
love it though. never gets boring.
